We manufacture all our products in Germany because we believe in the joy of handmade products. Because we want to give our customers many choices. Because we do not like fast moving disposable products. Because we want to act sustainably. Because we find short ways more ecological. And above all because we enjoy it.
For us, good design is as little design as possible.
We take up changes in our constantly changing environment, process our impressions into our ideas and implement them. We reduce the elements to the essentials and seek solutions that surprise. The bag is a practical carrying accessory and personal statement. Tablet sleevesor cases must be handy and appealing and serve as protection like laptop cases and mobile phone sleeves. Accessories such as coasters, placemats, mousepads and seat cushions are also carefully checked for sizes and formats. The scribbling is followed by the implementation. A first sample is created for this purpose. Then we work out the exact pattern, after which our cutting dies are digitized.
What we cannot punch must be cut by hand. This applies in particular to single pieces, special sizes and custom felt cuts, which are used for seat covers and bench covers. Manual cutting is advantageous for small quantities, as we save waiting times and die cutting costs.
With our small punching machine we make our work easier. Each part is punched piece by piece with the respective cutting die. This ensures precise, uniform and dimensionally accurate felt and leather punching parts - from the mobile phone sleeve to the felt coaster to the seat cushion.
We emboss our logo on many of our cases and sleeves. The stamp is pressed into the leather under high pressure and heat. We speak of blind embossing because we do not use foils or colours for the embossing and the motif - in our case the logo - becomes visible deep in the leather. With some types of leather, the embossing is darkened by the heat.
We are particularly proud of our sewing machines.
We sew our bags on professional machines
with automatic presser foot lift, thread trimmer and automatic locking.
Thinning is the smoothing of leather edges. We use this technique mainly for mobile phone cases made of leather to make the cases with the strong material a bit more pleasing in fit. Of course, this also applies to leather bags that are sewn on the inside so that the edges of the bag become cleaner after being turned over.
Here we attach labels to a bag lid with one of our rivet presses. Other uses are, for example, the assembly of press fasteners and eyelets on bags and key rings.
Shipping includes printing the shipping note and, of course, loving packaging. We make sure that our packaging for cases and seat cushions is designed as ecologically as possible and use almost exclusively paper and cardboard that is easy to dispose of.
